Company Description:Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity seeks to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action by building affordable homes for working families in need that will revitalize the community, and we eliminate poverty housing conditions by making critical repairs that threaten health and safety. Founded in 1986 as a private 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity has been providing housing and comprehensive financial and life skills to hardworking low-income families in Salt Lake County. There are 100 Habitat homes in Salt Lake County to date, providing shelter for over 404 people, including 251 children, earning just 30% to 60 % of the area's median income.
